Not minding the intent of this question, Jesus shows in His response that fidelity to structures is not necessarily the sure way to salvation. There should be some correspondence between the faith we profess and the life we live. Our Christianity shouldn’t be one that ends on Sundays or in the church. It should permeate our workplaces, our businesses, our schools and all we do. It makes little or no sense when a Christian fast and prays in the church and yet is quarrelsome and troublesome at home. The challenge today is for us not to be too concerned with external religious practices against interior life.
