- That, in the ministries of our Church and parish community, we may seek to extend the love of God without limitations, conditions, or expectations: let us pray to the Lord.
- That our bishops, priests, deacons, and ministers may imitate the humility of Christ, the Servant of God: let us pray to the Lord.
- That the nations and peoples of the world may cooperate in peace and trust to establish “the city of the living God”: let us pray to the Lord.
- That the poor, the abused, the lost, and the forgotten may find places of honor and welcome at our tables and altars: let us pray to the Lord.
- That the sick, the suffering, the recovering, and the dying may be reassured of the great love of God in the compassionate care and humble service we joyfully extend to them: let us pray to the Lord.
- That the souls of our deceased relatives and friends may be welcomed by God to the banquet of heaven: let us pray to the Lord.
- That God will grant the prayers we now make in the silence of our hearts:

Hear the prayers we make to you, O gracious Father. In all of creation, in your gift of life itself, you have shown your great love for your human family. May we give you thanks for your many blessings by living lives that are worthy of such love. We make these prayers to you in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
